Captains Comments

Last weekends game was yet another victory that was hard fought and one that we deserved. We have built a team that is enjoying the feeling of winning now after a nightmare start. This week was all about the pitch, but we do understand that both teams have to play on it and dug in (literately) a performance that just got the job done. I can see that we all play with smiles on our faces now and i believe that we have the momentum to keep winning and fear no-one. Players are listening and understanding what needs to be done, so that we edge our way up the league to our rightful position. The defence is solid, midfield are performing and the strikers are scoring. This combination it why we are winning and performing better. I saw the vision what the management were looking for at the start of the season and now feel that we are succeeding. You can now say that all the hard work and discussions were well worth it, but that doesn't mean that we now drop off, all the teams are beatable, including us so keep up with the drive and follow the dreams. May I wish everyone at the club a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and this is also meant for the supporters of our great team.
